"Lake Arrowhead Cabin"

This is a COVID vacation, which means no private chefs or butlers. In fact, Shannon and Emily can’t even come because they actually have COVID. Braunwyn is nervous about her first sober girls trip, but she perseveres, shouting to her husband Sean over her shoulder as she gets in the van, “If I call you, answer the phone.

It means I’m having a breakdown.” Okay, have fun with that Sean! Meanwhile, Elizabeth is upset because Braunwyn looked up her financial records. And Kelly is just upset because she is the only person in the house who knows how to cook. There are some kayaking shenanigans that leave Kelly and Gina as wet as drowned rats.

Kelly calls her boyfriend to talk smack about Braunwyn over the phone, while Braunwyn is literally three feet away, and then lowers her voice and says “I think she heard me”. You think, Kelly? But the most emotional moment comes when Elizabeth collapses in a heap during a nature walk, and spills the details of her childhood growing up in a cult as Braunwyn cradles her.

In 2007, every single person living in Orange County, California was “in real estate” (unless, of course, they were in energy drinks) and so it’s to be expected that before the gals even reached San Diego, Jeana Keough and Vicki Gunvalson are barking at each other across the limo about a security deposit.
